Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy is part of physiotherapy and it uses electric current to treat pathologies in the patient.

Electrotherapy is the contraction of "electro" for electricity, and "therapy", it is therefore therapy using electricity. Note that we also speak of electrotherapy to designate the recording of the electrical activity of a muscle.
